AEF Sustaining Donors commit to donate at least $150 to the Foundation every spring. These donations provide stability to the AEF Mini-Grant program by ensuring that funds will be available to be awarded the following fall. Becoming a Sustaining Donor is a simple way for you to give. We will send a reminder each May with a return envelope for your use.

Please complete the AEF Sustaining Donor Card and return it along with your check or credit card authorization for the amount of your sustaining gift for this year. Next spring we will simply send you a reminder.

Have you remembered AEF in your estate planning will or trust? Your planned gift can enhance the education of Albany students in a variety of ways and may result in a tax benefit for your estate. We are happy to discuss the possibilities with you.
With the recent Taxpayers Relief Act, donors of at least 70 1/2 years of age can now transfer any amount, up to $100,000 annually, directly from their IRA to the Albany Education Foundation.  The distribution is tax-free and counts toward your required minimum distribution. It is a great way for you to make an extra or increased gift to AEF.
