Albany Education Foundation
Albany Education Foundation grants impact every student in the Albany Unified School District, and support every curriculum area from fine arts to physics. AEF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to maintaining the quality of Albany’s schools and making them even stronger.

About Us
The Albany Education Foundation provides Albany public schools additional resources to support and enhance educational programs and opportunities.
Since 1995, the scope of grants awarded by AEF has grown. Grant recipients include all school sites and grade levels from TK through high school. Individual teachers can apply for grants to enhance their classroom program, including field trips, author visits, and classroom supplies such as books and manipulatives. During the year as special opportunities arise, teachers can apply for Sally Outis Block Grants for multi-grade or multi-site activities. All new teachers are welcomed to AUSD with a check to help them set up their classrooms.

Our Grants in Action
We support and empower teachers by providing high-quality resources. We listen to what teachers need to enhance education for Albany students.
In the 2021-2022 school year, AEF awarded 56 grants to AUSD teachers.
